Top official inspects apartments built by TNUHDB in Coimbatore
The inspection was led by Kuldip Narayan, joint secretary and mission director (Housing for All). He visited the sites, inspected the quality of the buildings and checked if basic amenities were being provided for all houses.
COIMBATORE: A top official from the Union ministry of housing and urban affairs inspected apartments constructed by the Tamil Nadu Urban Habitat Development Board (TNUHDB) at Selvapuram here on Thursday.
The inspection was led by Kuldip Narayan, joint secretary and mission director (Housing for All). He visited the sites, inspected the quality of the buildings and checked if basic amenities were being provided for all houses.
He inspected the TNUHDB’s five story building with 528 dwelling units at Selvapuram. Kuldip Narayan also enquired with residents if their dwelling spaces were adequate and if they were provided with all basic amenities in their apartments.
He also inspected a six story building with 112 dwelling units, which was built at a cost of 9.4 crore at North Perur and another building with 288 dwelling units, built at a cost of 24 crore, at Ezhil Nagar in Selvapuram.
